    Car Valiues

I was now offered $15,000 for my 2007 Saturn sky redline with 22k on it on a trade for a new 4xe rubicon. I have a family member who can get me the code for an employee discount which saves me $6000 off msrp I bought this car for $9100 four yrs ago. I think I should let it go. I love the Sky and I would want to get another one in the future and I feel these trade values are going to crash and I should let it go.

You should probably sell your SS, since stock low mileage autos are pushing $50K now.

I’m so tempted to sell one of my vehicles but there’s no way I’ll get the deal I got the first time. Selling at an inflated price to purchase something else at an inflated price. I keep pinching myself saying no.

I just got $20k for my 2015 1LE with 104k miles. That's what I paid for it 2.5 years ago when it had 51k miles.

I was offered more for my F150 last week than I paid when I bought it new.

I wasn't tempted because I would then just buy the '21 version of the exact same truck and spend more money to get it.

I am getting stupid offers for my '96 almost weekly. I think it is going to start staying in the garage.

I inherited my dad's truck when he passed away in October. 2000 Ford F-150 Lariat, just rolled 78,000 miles on the way into the office this morning. People ring the doorbell or stop when I'm out in the yard wanting to buy it. Can't force myself to part with it.

I've been wanting to buy a 2015+ Tahoe but the prices on those, like every other car, has skyrocketed so I have been waiting. I might not ever buy one if the prices stay like this.

New vehicle production part supply issues have idled lots of plants so there’s a limited supply of new vehicles which has caused used car demand to go up hence used car prices going up.

Should correct once supply catch’s up with demand but that may not even be until next year.

I just sold a 2006 Rav4 with 150000 miles to Carmax for $3400. Last year at this time I would have been lucky to get $2000.
